So the journey begins...
I bought my camera yesterday, a Nikon D200 with 18-135mm lens. I am very excited to start my journey into the world of photography! I thought it would be best to get my camera a few months before school started so that I could get comfortable with it and learn as much as possible on my own. I took many pictures yesterday and most of them were terrible, but I liked a few of them.

Well to be honest I was just playing and that's what I ended up with but normally to get a shallow depth of field you would choose a wide aperture (basically means a larger hole for light to come through).
